The Erickson Lab

We study how bacterial pathogens interact with their hosts and adapt to different environments. We are currently studying members of the extraintestinal pathogenic Escherichia coli (ExPEC) family and YersiniaExPEC and Yersinia provide exciting experimental systems to determine the molecular basis for pathogen success in specific environments.
